Storekeeper

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and supplies. This role is vital in ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient stock movement, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees storage and handling of all stock, including food, beverages, wine, tobacco, chemicals, and operating supplies.
• Ensures cleanliness, proper sanitation, and temperature control in all storage areas.
• Moves products into designated storerooms efficiently during loading and receiving.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Conduct regular stock counts.
• Monitors product expiry dates and implement loss prevention and security measures.

PROFILE:

• Holder of a Higher School Certificate;
• Experience in hotel operations would be an advantage;
• Strong knowledge & experience in application of inventory control and store management process ;
• Experience with Oracle system and other similar inventory management system.
• Works in close collaboration with different departments.
• Achieve stock accuracy targets as set by the company.
• Ability to do hands-on physical work and work in outdoor conditions.
