Store Attendant

La Pirogue provides an authentic Mauritian experience, full of tranquillity, possibility, and local charm. The resort features 248 individual thatched cottages with private outdoor space, styled in a local boho-chic design, overlooking tropical gardens, a turquoise lagoon, or white sandy beach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, store, and issue goods in accordance with hotel procedures
• Ensure stock levels are accurate and up to date
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock audits
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the storage areas
• Coordinate with various departments for timely supply of items
• Ensure proper documentation of all stock movements

PROFILE:

• Previous experience in a similar role (hospitality industry preferred)
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Basic computer skills (knowledge of inventory systems is a plus)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent in English and French ; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
