Sports Organisor – Responsibilities

  • Ensure all sports activities are conducted in a safe and organised manner
  • Help set up equipment and supervise sports sessions or events
  • Support the planning of aquatic and sports activities
  • Supervise swimmers and ensure safety at all times
  • Monitor pool activities and remain constantly alert to potential risks
  • Enforce pool rules and safety regulations
  • Respond immediately to emergencies and perform water rescues when required
  • Administer First Aid and CPR in case of accidents or incidents
  • Inspect pool area and equipment to ensure a safe environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper order of the pool surroundings
  • Report incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues promptly
  • Control access to the pool and ensure proper use of facilities
  • Assist swimmers and provide safety guidance when needed

Sports Organisor – Profile

  • Certified Lifeguard qualification (mandatory)
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Strong swimming skills and physical endurance
  • Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
  • Excellent observation and surveillance skills
  • Knowledge of rescue techniques and use of lifesaving equipment
  • High level of alertness and concentration for long periods
  • Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious attitude
  • Good communication skills to give clear instructions to swimmers
  • Ability to enforce rules firmly but professionally
  • Previous experience in lifeguarding or aquatic environments is an advantage
  • Basic organisational skills to assist with sports activities and events
  • Team player with a proactive and reliable approach
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
