Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously monitor quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure consistent service excellence.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with established quality standards and operational guidelines.

  • Analyze quality data, audit results, and performance reports to identify trends, gaps, and areas for continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with departmental heads and teams to develop, implement, and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans.

  • Train, coach, and support staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of quality.

  • Monitor guest feedback, satisfaction surveys, and online reviews, and implement improvement strategies to enhance the guest experience.

  • Prepare comprehensive quality reports and present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or Facility Management.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a complex technical environment, with at least 5 years as Maintenance Manager in a 5-star hotel or Hospitality industry.

  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams.

  • Strong knowledge of hotel MEP systems, building fabric, HVAC, plant equipment, and preventive maintenance programs.

  • Experience managing refurbishment or large-scale upgrade projects is essential.

  • Registration with the Engineering Council of Mauritius is an advantage.
