We are looking for a proactive and hands on Maintenance Supervisor to join our prestigious 5-star resort and help ensure our facilities remain in impeccable condition for our guests and team members.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the Maintenance to ensure the efficient upkeep of all resort facilities.
• Coordinate and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, recreational facilities, and back of the house operations.
• Assign, monitor, and inspect maintenance work to ensure it meets the resort's quality and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and minimise downtime through effective planning and execution.
• Assist in maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and general building systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and fire safety regulations.
• Monitor maintenance inventories and coordinate the procurement of tools, equipment and spare parts.
• Support energy conservation initiatives and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and motivate maintenance staff while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare reports as required.

Profile

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in hotel, resort, or facilities maintenance, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Sound knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance practices.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and respond to emergency maintenance situations when required.
