IT Supervisor

Located on the East Coast of Mauritius, The Bay Club at Anahita offers luxury hotel-standard operations, upscale accommodation, a championship golf course, premium wellness and leisure facilities, and highly personalised service for residents and visitors.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure 24/7 availability of critical hotel systems, including PMS, POS, network, telephony, Wi-Fi, and core business applications.
• Ensure PMS, POS and core application systems remain fully operational, especially during peak business periods.
• Ensure all incidents, service requests, and changes are properly logged and tracked in the IT Helpdesk system.
• Act as incident response manager during major IT outages affecting the property.
• Coordinate staff rosters, shift coverage, weekends, public holidays, and leave planning to ensure adequate IT support during operational hours and critical periods.
• Oversee servers, file services, backups, and restore operations.
• Oversee telecommunications systems, including IP telephony, connectivity links, and hotel Wi-Fi services.
• Ensure systems are operated in compliance with Sunlife IT policies.

Profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, or equivalent would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in IT operations, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, VMware, and core IT services.
• Working knowledge of Opera PMS, Simphony POS & Oracle ERP.
• Practical experience in structured cabling, including CAT5e/CAT6 and RJ45 termination.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
