RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply professional make-up services according to client preferences and occasions

• Greet clients courteously and professionally, ensuring high customer service standards

• Conduct thorough consultations to assess clients’ needs, preferences, and hair condition

• Perform hairdressing services including cutting, styling, colouring, blow-drying, and treatments in line with salon standards

• Advise clients on suitable hairstyles, colours, and appropriate hair care products

• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation for tools, equipment, and work areas

• Comply with health, safety, and salon policies and procedures

• Manage appointments efficiently and adhere to time allocations

• Maintain an organised, clean, professional salon environment

• Address client concerns/feedback promptly and professionally

• Promote salon services and retail products when appropriate

• Keep up to date with trends, techniques, and developments in hairdressing

• Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth salon operations

PROFILE:

• Certificate or Diploma in Hairdressing from a recognised institution

• Proven experience as a professional hairdresser in a salon environment

• Sound knowledge of hair cutting, colouring, styling, and treatment techniques

• Understanding of hair and scalp conditions and appropriate treatments

• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards for salon operations

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to provide excellent customer service professionally
