Sunlife is looking for a Group Plumber to ensure the effective installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems across its facilities.

The role safeguards the operational integrity, safety, and efficiency of water, drainage, and sanitation systems, supporting smooth facility operations across the Group.

As a trusted technical partner within the maintenance team, the Group Plumber will proactively address issues, implement preventive measures, and uphold the highest service and compliance standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment across all Group properties.
  • Ensure proper functioning of water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve plumbing issues before they escalate.
  • Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and malfunctions promptly.
  • Respond to emergency plumbing situations to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for plumbing infrastructure.
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with relevant health, safety, and building codes.
  • Monitor water systems to prevent wastage, contamination, or hazards.
  • Assist in planning and executing plumbing-related aspects of facility renovation and construction projects.
  • Liaise with external contractors and vendors when specialized services are required.
  • Provide technical input to management on plumbing upgrades, replacements, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Report recurring issues and propose long-term solutions to improve system reliability.
  • Ensure compliance documentation is up to date for audits and inspections.

PROFILE:

  • Proven experience as a plumber for minimum 5 years.
  • Technical training or certification in plumbing.
  • Strong knowledge of water supply, heating systems, and sanitation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Physically fit and able to work in various conditions.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
