Finance & Banking Officer

Join our team as a Finance & Banking Officer to manage key financial operations with accuracy, compliance, and seamless banking processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES -

• Cash Handling: Manage the Main Cashier Petty Cash Float as per procedures.
• Banking Process: Handle all daily banking, align funds with operational needs, and ensure accurate reconciliation of all cash, credit card transactions, deposits, or floats.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate reports on banking activities, card transactions, and commissions to support financial decision-making.
• Financial Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure that all banking operations fully comply with internal controls, financial regulations, and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) standards.
• Month-End Financial Close: Assist the Finance Team in month-end closing activities, including reconciliations, schedule updates, and ledger adjustments.
• Culture of Continuous Improvement & Team Agility: Demonstrate agility and a proactive mindset by supporting the Finance Team across various tasks as needed

PROFILE -

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in finance, accounting, or handling banking operations/cash float in a similar or equivalent role — preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in financial systems and tools such as Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Certifications: Professional qualifications such as ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus, especially for interacting with international stakeholders.
• Flexible & Agile: Adapts quickly to changes in processes, systems, and business needs.
• Organised & Proactive: Manages multiple tasks with efficiency and meets deadlines without compromise.
• Team-Oriented with Strong Ethics: Works collaboratively with finance and operations teams while upholding internal controls and compliance standards.
