The F&B Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and organizational support to the Food & Beverage Department to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of exceptional guest experiences. This role coordinates departmental communications, scheduling, reporting, procurement processes, events, and daily operational requirements while maintaining the highest standards expected in a five-star resort environment.
Main Responsibilities
• The F&B Coordinator is responsible for tracking employee attendance, leave, and overtime through the attendance management system, ensuring records are accurate and submitted in a timely manner for payroll processing.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the F&B Manager and Outlet Managers
• Support the implementation of departmental projects, promotions, and initiatives
• Coordinate purchasing requests and track orders for food, beverage, equipment, and operational supplies.
• Ensure banquet event orders (BEOs) and operational requirements are accurately communicated to relevant teams
• Maintain accurate records of revenues, covers, and departmental KPIs.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and ensure compliance with luxury hospitality standards.
• Coordinate departmental training schedules and maintain training records
• Organise F&B Menus and digital tags
Profile
• At least 5 to 6 years in a responsible position and fully conversant with Restaurant and bar Operations.
• Should be fluent in English, French and preferably a third language
• A diploma in Hotel Management or any other alternative qualifications would be an advantage
• Excellent management & communication skills
• Should be prepared to work long hours
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, E-mail, MC, OPERA, Publisher)
• Candidates should be prepared to work odd hours, late shifts, Public Holidays and Sundays
• Salary and conditions of employment will be commensurate with the above profile
