Executive Sous Chef - Long Beach
We are looking for a passionate Executive Sous Chef with strong leadership and culinary expertise in menu design and food production. He/she will be responsible to manage the culinary operation, achieves its goals, contributes to the guest experience and overall profitability of the hotel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in daily operations;
- Maintain ISO 22000 standards
- Maintain a high level of service by providing training and coaching to all direct reports, kitchen and stewarding associates
- Introduce new cooking methods and recipes.
PROFILE
- Holder of a High School Certificate
- Proficient in spoken and written business English
- Knowledgeable about finance, food quality and cost control
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar position
- Experience in fine-dining restaurants, banqueting operations and international exposure will be a plus.
