Executive Sous Chef - Long Beach

We are looking for a passionate Executive Sous Chef with strong leadership and culinary expertise in menu design and food production. He/she will be responsible to manage the culinary operation, achieves its goals, contributes to the guest experience and overall profitability of the hotel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in daily operations;
  • Maintain ISO 22000 standards
  • Maintain a high level of service by providing training and coaching to all direct reports, kitchen and stewarding associates
  • Introduce new cooking methods and recipes.

PROFILE

  • Holder of a High School Certificate
  • Proficient in spoken and written business English
  • Knowledgeable about finance, food quality and cost control
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in similar position
  • Experience in fine-dining restaurants, banqueting operations and international exposure will be a plus.
