Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in the day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen sections and efficient service delivery
  • Maintain consistency in food preparation, presentation, and quality
  • Ensure strict adherence to ISO 22000 food safety management standards
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation across all kitchen and stewarding areas
  • Monitor compliance with all health, safety, and company procedures
  • Maintain a high level of service by training, coaching, and developing kitchen and stewarding associates
  • Supervise team performance and promote a positive, motivated work environment
  • Support onboarding and continuous development of team members
  • Introduce new cooking methods, techniques, and recipes to enhance the culinary offering
  • Support menu development in line with current trends and guest expectations
  • Encourage creativity while maintaining brand standards

Profile

  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or Housekeeping Operations (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a similar role within hospitality.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial housekeeping role within a hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong operational mindset with attention to detail and a passion for quality.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping systems, inventory control, and hygiene standards.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
