Assistant Maintenance Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead daily Maintenance operations;
• Organize daily briefings and schedule of work;
• Assist in preventive maintenance of rooms, equipment, building service and among others;
• Has a good knowledge of electrical work, air-conditioning, plumbing, and other maintenance activities;
• Monitor the Energy system;
• Follow up on project implementation and contract administration;
• Oversee the operations of the maintenance stores;
• Has a good knowledge on ISO and Audits;
• Ensure team members adhere to room check and preventive maintenance work;
• Inspect hotel areas on a daily basis and monitor work progress;
• Respond to all maintenance issues in a respected time line.

PROFILE:

• HSC & BEng (Hons) Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or any related qualification from a recognized institution.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Good communication skills - both English and French.
• Computer literate.
• Innovative approach and attention to details.
• Ready to work odd hours / Sunday / Public Holiday.
