Meet Captain Soleil, the pirate behind Sunlife’s new Come Alive activity.

Island Trails: The Legend of Captain Soleil is a self-guided digital treasure hunt available at our resorts in Mauritius. Using the GooseChase app, guests complete 10 missions around the resort, answering questions, taking photos, completing simple challenges, and learning more about the island along the way.

No fixed start time. No special equipment. Just download the app, scan the activity QR code at your hotel, and begin when you are ready.

The story

Captain Soleil was not the kind of pirate who chased gold.

She cared about Mauritius, its nature, stories, people, and places. With her golden compass and her ship, The Ray of Dawn, she sailed the Indian Ocean collecting the island’s real treasures.

Before her ship disappeared in a storm, she left behind a trail for future explorers to follow.

That trail is now yours.

How to play

- Download the GooseChase app.
- Open the app and tap Get Started.
- When prompted to Find Your Experience, enter the special passcode shown on the Island Trails signage at your resort. We’ve also listed the passcodes for each resort below:

- Follow the 10 missions on your phone.
- Complete each task at your own pace.

Some missions ask you to take a photo. Others ask you to answer a question, find something around the resort, or complete a light challenge linked to Mauritius, nature, or island life.

You can play alone, in pairs, as a family, or with friends.
