Nursing Officer

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual who will be responsible for overseeing nursing operations and ensuring the quality, consistency, and efficiency of patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Holder of a Certificate / Diploma in Nursing from Ministry of Health or recognised institution.
• Registered as nurse with the nursing council.
• 5 years' experience as registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years in Emergency unit.

PROFILE:

• Attend patient and give first treatment.
• Measure and record patients' vital signs.
• Administer medications intramuscular injection or starting an intravenous fluid on doctor's recommendation.
• Provide basic patient care and treatments.
• Administer emergency treatment for injuries/illnesses; arrange for advance medical care where necessary.
• Organise for doctor's appointment and visit to patient where necessary.
• Follow up of all injuries/sick patient admitted in a clinic or hospital.
• Raise awareness with employer/employees on health problems to minimize or eliminate potential illness risks.
• Order and monitor medical equipment and medication.
• Carry out inventory of all medicines dispensed.
• Shall work on shift system including weekends and public holidays
