Executive Housekeeper

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Executive Housekeeper to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES -

• Manage the Housekeeping department to ensure our guests receive prompt and courteous service.
• Oversee Linen/uniform room operations.
• Schedule routine inspections of all housekeeping areas.
• Inspect guest and public areas on a regular basis to ensure that the furnishings, facilities, and equipment are clean and in good condition.
• Maintain open channels of communication with other department Heads.
• Identify and ensure highest possible standard of cleanliness, maintenance, guest room supplies and amenities at a realistic cost.
• Supervise outside contractors to ensure contractual compliance.
• Responsible for and manage all inventories and stocks.
• Conduct regular training.
• Contribute to the overall management of the hotel as a Head of Department.

PROFILE -

• At least 3 years of prior experience in similar operational setting and concept for a large 5-star resort operations.
• Knowledge of basic OPERA functions.
• Results driven to achieve and exceed quality, financial and employee relations goals.
• Be fully computer literate with excellent presentation, communication and listening skills.
• Outgoing, vivacious, professional & customer focused.
• Lead by example; is solution orientated and can resolve internal challenges.
• Able to work within a team and on own initiative.
• Able to handle groups and visits.
• Take ownership for his/her work.
• Has an eye for detail.
• Fluent in English, French and Creole (a third language would be an advantage)
• Ensure brand standards are enlivened and identify new ways to enhance the guest experience.
• Follow hotel standards and procedures.
• Anticipate and responds to guest needs.
• Ensure that the privacy of the guests and the confidentiality of the information is respected.
