The 5* resort, Sugar Beach, is looking for adynamic and passionate Sales & Events Lead sharing the same vision of offering a very high level of customer service, to be part of our dedicated team


  • Research and identify revenue potential Clients within Mauritius and use this research to build a key Client Account List
  • Understand each customer’s key business objectives in-order to develop comprehensive strategic account plans that will lead to delivery of increased business
  • Has mind for business - gain deep customer knowledge about the local market and the specific account, identify decision makers within the companies and be able to work directly with these decision makers as a strategic partner
  • Work with local DMCs
  • Design, develop & deliver business presentations to external and internal clients
  • Attend key customer meetings and general sales calls and to keep a detailed and accurate record of all discussions and outcomes
  • Maintain current knowledge of competition and local market trends to assist in developing and implementing sales strategies


  • Holder of a bachelor's degree or Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of proven track record
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in using MS office software.
  • Must be result-oriented, proactive with the ability to develop and solicit business while encouraging repeat customers.
  • The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a true passion for hospitality and excellent customer relations.
