Chief Steward

Sugar Beach is looking for a Chief Steward who will oversee and direct all aspects of the stewarding operation under the general guidance and supervision of the Executive Chef within the established policies and procedures of the company. He/she will also ensure quality standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation of all kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are maintained at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to oversee departments' training requirements and develop associates.
• Establish good communication and teamwork within the Stewarding team and others.
• Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of customers and all team members.
• Responsible for implementing a detailed cleaning program as scheduled.
• Control of breakages and losses of operating equipment.

PROFILE:

• Holder of Higher School Certificate.
• Previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage.
• Must be computer literate and well versed with Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-structured and good multi-tasking skills. Has an eye for detail
